Montréal, July 9, 2026 — At a meeting of the Canadian Auto Show Managers Association (CASMA) held on July 7, 2026, association members appointed Luis Pereira as President for a one-year term.

CASMA brings together the directors of Canada’s leading auto shows to encourage the sharing of best practices, the development of partnerships, and a common vision for the future of these major events. The association represents six major Canadian auto shows: Toronto, Montréal, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Québec City.

As Executive Director of the Montreal International Auto Show, one of Canada’s leading automotive events, Luis Pereira brings extensive experience in organizing large-scale events. The Montreal Auto Show will continue its mission of showcasing the latest innovations in the automotive industry when it returns from January 15 to 24, 2027.

“It is a privilege to work alongside the leaders of Canada’s leading auto shows. Together, we will continue to strengthen the relevance and reach of our events for the benefit of the industry, manufacturers and Canadian visitors,” said Luis Pereira.
