Montréal, January 16, 2026 — The 22nd edition of the Montreal Auto Show’s Charity Preview Gala (CPG) was held on January 15, 2026, at the Palais des congrès de Montréal.
During this fundraising evening, a total of $812,000 was presented to five hospital foundations in the Greater Montreal area by the event’s co-presenters, the Montreal Automobile Dealers Corporation (MADC) and the Palais des congrès de Montréal, in collaboration with iA Auto Finance, iA Dealer Services and the Journal de Montréal.
Nearly 4,000 guests attended this exceptional evening, marked by a festive and welcoming atmosphere. As the official launch of Auto Show week, the Charity Preview Gala kicks off the Montreal Auto Show each year.
More Than $12 Million Donated Since the First Edition in 2005
Gilles Pilon, President of the Montreal Auto Show, highlighted the outstanding commitment of those in attendance and the unifying role played by Greater Montreal’s automotive industry:
“Since 2005, the Charity Preview Gala has raised more than $12 million for hospital foundations across Greater Montreal. What we are celebrating tonight is the very real impact of this collective commitment on meaningful projects that directly benefit our community.”
Since its very first edition, the Charity Preview Gala has reflected the Greater Montreal automotive industry’s ongoing commitment to hospital foundations and healthcare initiatives. In addition to supporting these important causes, guests enjoyed exclusive access to the latest vehicles, attractions and themed areas of the 2026 Montreal Auto Show before it opened to the general public.

The 81st edition of the Montreal Auto Show opens to the public at the Palais des congrès de Montréal from January 16 to 25, 2026.
